In Saturday's non-league outing, the Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN) basketball squad edged the host Argos Dragons (Argos, IN), by a count of 49-46.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Frankfort (Frankfort, IN). The Hot Dogs go into the non-league outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Frankfort held off Sheridan (Sheridan, IN), 65-49, in a non-league outing.
