Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Caston Comets (Fulton, IN) and the visiting Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN), saw Caston's basketball squad overcome Pioneer by a tally of 56-47.

With the victory, Caston improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Tri-County (Wolcott, IN) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Tri-County won 55-30 in their recent league challenge against South Newton (Kentland, IN)

Next up, the Panthers confront the South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Pioneer will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 55-30 league loss to Tri-County (Wolcott, IN).
