Connecticut High School Basketball - Middletown ripped by East Catholic
December 16, 2023: Middletown, CT 06457 The East Catholic Eagles basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Middletown Blue Dragons to 46 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Bernard for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. East Catholic will battle a Saints team coming off a 83-65 non-league win over Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT). The Saints record now stands at 1-0.
The Blue Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against East Hartford (East Hartford, CT). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, East Hartford triumphed over Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT), 63-60, in a non-league contest.
