Maine High School Basketball - Washburn trounces East Grand
December 16, 2023: Dansforth, ME 04424 The Washburn Beavers (Washburn, ME) basketball crushed the host East Grand Vikings (Dansforth, ME), 62-14 in Saturday's league test.
The Beavers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Easton (Easton, ME). The Bears go into the D North test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Easton was trounced by Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME), 75-29, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Shead for a D North test on Tuesday, December 19. East Grand will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 52-23 league loss to Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
