The Fleming Colonels basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Glass Hilltoppers to 65 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Colonels now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Fleming will meet a Warriors team coming off a 59-21 non-league win over Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.

The Hilltoppers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Flames enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Eastern Mennonite ran past St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA), 58-56, in a non-league contest.
