In Monday's non-league test, the Independence Wildcats (Independence, MS) basketball squad trounced the host Strayhorn Mustangs (Sarah, MS), by a score of 80-32.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 21. Independence will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record.
