The Berthoud Spartans basketball squad (Berthoud, CO), lost 70-50 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO)

The Silver Knights (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lutheran (Parker, CO). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Lutheran defeated Mead (Longmont, CO), 56-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Loveland, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak contest, on Thursday, December 18.
