The Hershey Panthers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Kimball Longhorns to 24 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ogallala for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 18. Hershey will meet a Indians team coming off a 78-59 non-league win over Gering (Gering, NE). The Indians record now stands at 5-1.

The Longhorns (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against South Platte (Big Springs, NE). The Blue Knights enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, South Platte triumphed over Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE), 43-38, in a non-league contest.
