Lakin Broncs (Lakin, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS), 57-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Lakin upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Broncs travel to Wichita County (Leoti, KS) to clash with the Indians in a Hi-Plains bout on Friday, January 7. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 18. Stanton County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 51-38 non-league loss to Dighton (Dighton, KS).
