The The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) basketball nipped the host Ellicott Thunderhawks (Calhan, CO), 57-53 in Saturday's league test.

The Coursers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Pueblo Centennial got by Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO), 48-32, in a non-league test.
