Colorado High School Basketball - Ellicott crushes Salida

February 22, 2023: Salida, CO 81201

Ellicott Thunderhawks (Calhan, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Salida Spartans (Salida, CO), 40-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ellicott upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Thunderhawks travel to St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 17-3. St. Mary's won 87-43 in their recent non-league bout against Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Woodland Park Panthers (Woodland Park, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 24. Salida will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 87-43 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO).
