New Jersey High School Basketball - Absegami holds off Oakcrest
December 17, 2024: Galloway, NJ 08205 The Absegami Braves basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Oakcrest Falcons to 46 in the Braves league triumph on Tuesday.
The Braves now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Millville for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Absegami will confront a Thunderbolts team coming off a 46-33 league loss to Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Oakcrest falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ) to confront the Spartans in a Cape/Atlantic - National game on Thursday, December 19. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 1-0. Holy Spirit won 54-28 in their recent non-league game against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NJ)
