Michigan High School Basketball - Covenant Christian holds off NorthPointe Christian
December 17, 2024: Grand Rapids, MI 49534 The Covenant Christian Chargers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting NorthPointe Christian Mustangs to 39 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Allendale for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Covenant Christian will confront a Falcons team coming off a 64-61 non-league loss to East Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, NorthPointe Christian falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Union (Grand Rapids, MI) to confront the Red Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Red Hawks go into the game with a record of 2-3. Union lost 77-30 in their recent non-league game against Benton Harbor (Benton Harbor, MI)
