Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Interlake Saints (Bellevue, WA), 74-47 in a league match.

With the victory, Mercer Island advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Islanders travel to Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA) to meet the T-Birds in a non-league match on Monday, December 23. The T-Birds enter the match with a record of 3-4.

The Saints now own a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kentlake for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. Interlake will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 63-53 league loss to Kent-Meridian (Kent, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
