The Blacklick Valley Vikings basketball squad (Nanty Glo, PA), lost 53-41 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA)

With the victory, Glendale advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Vikings host Curwensville (Curwensville, PA) to meet the Golden Tide in a Moshannon Valley battle on Friday, December 20. The Golden Tide enter the battle with a record of 1-4. Curwensville lost 55-50 in their recent league battle against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA)

The Vikings now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hyndman Charter School for a Western Pennsylvania battle on Thursday, December 19. Blacklick Valley will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 63-28 non-league loss to Hancock (Hancock, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 0-3.
