Georgia High School Basketball - Groves routs Islands

December 18, 2024: Savannah, GA 31410

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Groves Rebels basketball team scored a big 84-57 triumph over the Islands Sharks.

The Rebels (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Darlington (Rome, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Darlington smashed Rockmart (Rockmart, GA), 86-27, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Sharks battle the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines (Savannah, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Islands will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 61-60 non-league win over Johnson (Savannah, GA).
