North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont Classical overwhelms Cornerstone Charter

The Piedmont Classical Bobcats basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals to 24 in the Bobcats league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bobcats now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Phoenix Academy for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Piedmont Classical will confront a Firebirds team coming off a 40-38 non-league loss to College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Cornerstone Charter falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Elkin (Elkin, NC) to confront the Buckin' Elks in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Buckin' Elks go into the game with a record of 5-4. Elkin lost 44-29 in their recent league game against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)
