New Hampshire High School Basketball - Fall Mountain thwarts Newport
December 18, 2024: Langdon, NH 03602 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) and the visiting Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), observed Fall Mountain's basketball team knock off Newport by a score of 45-32.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH). The Cougars come into the Division III challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Kearsarge prevailed over Stevens (Claremont, NH), 31-24, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Friday, December 20. Newport will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 31-24 league loss to Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH).
