December 19, 2022: Beverly, OH 45715 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) and the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV), saw Fort Frye's basketball squad overcome Parkersburg South by a tally of 36-27.
With the victory, Fort Frye improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Union Local (Belmont, OH) to confront the Jets in a Buckeye 8 challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Jets come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Union Local won 54-47 in their recent league challenge against Cameron (Cameron, WV)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Friday, December 23. Parkersburg South will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Big Reds come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 52-32 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, OH).
