December 19, 2022: Winston-Salem, NC 27106 The Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) basketball felled the host Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC), 38-30 in Monday's non-league test.
The Patriots (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Matthews Christian Academy (Matthews, NC). The Colts go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Matthews Christian Academy was beaten by Rockwell Christian School (Rockwell, NC), 57-11, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Vandalia Christian for a test on Tuesday, January 3. Woodland Baptist Christian will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 32-16 non-league loss to Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
