Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Walnut Ridge Scots (Columbus, OH) and the visiting Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH), saw Walnut Ridge's basketball squad wallop Briggs by a tally of 77-31.

With the victory, Walnut Ridge improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Scots host Marion-Franklin (Columbus, OH) to play the Red Devils in a Columbus City - South challenge on Friday, January 5. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Bruins play the Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 22. Briggs will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Blue Aces go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 57-53 non-league loss to Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH).
