December 19, 2023: Lafayette, LA 70501 Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA), 58-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northside upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Vikings host Jennings (Jennings, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-2.
Next up, the Bears play the Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Carencro will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 55-46 league win over Abbeville (Abbeville, LA).
