February 14, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70508 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA), saw St. Thomas More's basketball squad overcome Northside by a tally of 63-48.
With the victory, St. Thomas More improves its record to 27-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA) to confront the Knights in a 4A District 4 challenge on Friday, February 16. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 23-6. Lafayette Christian Academy won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Westgate (New Iberia, LA)
Next up, the Vikings confront the North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) in a 4A District 4 challenge, on Friday, February 16. Northside will attempt to improve on its 19-14 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 39-31 league loss to David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA).
