December 19, 2023: Decatur, MS 39327 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS) and the visiting Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS), saw Newton County's basketball squad overcome Sebastopol by a tally of 48-39.
With the victory, Newton County improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Richland (Richland, MS) to confront the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
