December 19, 2023: Effingham, IL 62401 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL), by a count of 50-46.
The Bulldogs (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Robinson (Robinson, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Robinson was tipped by Newton (Newton, IL), 56-49, in a league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Effingham for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 2. Richland County will face a Flaming Hearts team coming off a 62-33 league loss to Charleston (Charleston, IL). The Flaming Hearts record now stands at 2-10.
