The Ropes Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Seagraves Eagles to 15 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tahoka for a 2A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Ropes will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-38 non-league win over Robert Lee (Robert Lee, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-6.
