Center Roughriders (Center, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host LaPoynor Flyers (LaRue, TX), 84-68 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Center advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Roughriders host Silsbee (Silsbee, TX) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-9. Silsbee won 74-38 in their recent league match against Lumberton (Lumberton, TX)

The Flyers now own a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hitchcock for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. LaPoynor will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 66-62 non-league win over Angleton (Angleton, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.
