Texas High School Basketball - Palestine trounced by Center

Center Roughriders (Center, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX), 69-47 in a league match.

With the victory, Center improves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Hudson (Lufkin, TX) to encounter the Hornets in a 4A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, January 21. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 12-13.

The Wildcats (12-12) will now prepare for their test against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Mustangs come into the 4A Region III District 17 test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Madisonville was routed by Bullard (Bullard, TX), 61-39, in a league test.
