Texas High School Basketball - Center thwarts Hudson

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Center Roughriders (Center, TX) and the visiting Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX), observed Center's basketball team knock off Hudson by a score of 55-38.

The Roughriders (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Mustangs come into the 4A Region III District 17 challenge with a 22-7 record. In their last challenge, Madisonville prevailed over Palestine (Palestine, TX), 65-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Bullard Panthers (Bullard, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Hudson will attempt to improve on its 15-17 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 24-8 record after their 69-48 league win over Rusk (Rusk, TX).
