In Thursday's league test, the Mt. Vernon Rams (Mt. Vernon, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL), by a score of 83-13.

Coming up next, the Rams confront the Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 27. Mt. Vernon will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The go into the game with a 23-76 record after their 31-21 non-league win over Monte Del Sol Charter (Santa Fe, NM).
