Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV), 60-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Reno advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Huskies host Carson (Carson City, NV) to face the Senators in a 4A Northern match on Friday, December 20. The Senators enter the match with a record of 4-2. Carson lost 53-29 in their recent league match against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)

The Tigers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Manogue for a 4A Northern match on Friday, December 20. Douglas will face a Miners squad coming off a 46-44 non-league win over Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Miners record now stands at 4-3.
