The Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans to 40 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Woodland Hills for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Mt. Lebanon will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 50-35 non-league win over Frankford (Philadelphia, PA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Hempfield Area falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Indiana (Indiana, PA) to confront the Little Indians in a non-league game on Friday, December 27.
