December 19, 2024: New Town, ND 58763 Killdeer Cowboys (Killdeer, ND) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host New Town Eagles (New Town, ND), 45-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Killdeer advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Cowboys host Hettinger/Scranton (Hettinger, ND) to meet the Black Devils in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Black Devils enter the match with a record of 0-3. Hettinger/Scranton lost 53-9 in their recent non-league match against Lemmon (Lemmon, SD)
The Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mandaree for a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. New Town will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 43-10 non-league win over Alexander (Alexander, ND). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
