North Dakota High School Basketball - Bottineau nips New Town
February 4, 2025: New Town, ND 58763 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bottineau Braves/Stars (Bottineau, ND) and the host New Town Eagles (New Town, ND), observed Bottineau's basketball team edge New Town by a margin of 61-57.
The Braves/Stars (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Dunseith (Dunseith, ND). The Dragons come into the A Region 3 challenge with a 2-14 record. In their last challenge, Dunseith was tipped by Nedrose (Minot, ND), 63-52, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND) in a A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, February 7. New Town will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Blue Jays come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 63-20 league loss to Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND).
