New Town Eagles (New Town, ND) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND), 45-37 in a league match.

With the victory, New Town advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Eagles host South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND) to face the in a A Region 3 match on Tuesday, January 21. The enter the match with a record of 11-0. South Prairie/Max won 79-33 in their recent non-league match against Beulah (Beulah, ND)

The Blue Jays now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Our Redeemer's Christian for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18.
