Edison Tommies (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN), 72-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edison upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tommies travel to Richfield (Richfield, MN) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 22. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Stars play the Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN) in a AAA Section 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Academy of Holy Angels will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
