The Minneapolis Southwest Lakers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Academy of Holy Angels Stars to 37 in the Lakers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lakers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagan for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 9. Minneapolis Southwest will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 59-46 non-league win over White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
