The Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) basketball nipped the host Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA), 85-78 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy was tipped by Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA), 74-54, in a non-league test.
