Virginia High School Basketball - Hargrave Military Academy crushes Covenant

February 7, 2023: Charlottesville, VA 22902

Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 81-36 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Hargrave Military Academy improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host North Cross (Roanoke, VA) to confront the Raiders in a VISAA Division II challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. North Cross lost 77-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Covenant will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 79-48 league win over Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA).
