Virginia High School Basketball - Hargrave Military Academy overwhelms Fishburne Military

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) and the host Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), saw Hargrave Military Academy's basketball squad wallop Fishburne Military by a tally of 102-54.

With the victory, Hargrave Military Academy improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Covenant (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Eagles in a Virginia Independent challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-18. Covenant lost 40-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Stuart Hall (Staunton, VA)

Next up, the Caissons play the Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) in a VISAA Division III challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Fishburne Military will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Flames come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 80-66 league win over Carlisle (Axton, VA).
