Virginia High School Basketball - Virginia Episcopal School tops Fishburne Military

Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), 68-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Virginia Episcopal School upgrades its record to 4-14 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Mavericks in a Virginia Independent bout on Thursday, January 19. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Miller School of Albemarle lost 70-68 in their recent league bout against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA)

Next up, the Caissons play the Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Fishburne Military will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Badgers come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 52-18 non-league win over Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA).
