The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops basketball team (Lynchburg, VA), was routed 76-45 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA)

The Mavericks now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fishburne Military for a Virginia Independent contest on Monday, February 13. Miller School of Albemarle will battle a Caissons team coming off a 49-40 non-league win over Stuart Hall (Staunton, VA). The Caissons record now stands at 7-13.

The Bishops (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 16-8 record. In their last contest, The Carmel School triumphed over Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA), 76-50, in a league contest.
