The Eastern Mennonite Flames basketball team (Harrisonburg, VA), dropped 74-61 in Thursday's league battle with the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA)

The Bishops now possess a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Covenant for a VISAA Division IV battle on Saturday, January 28. Virginia Episcopal School will confront a Gryphons team coming off a 63-52 league win over Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA). The Gryphons record now stands at 15-4.

The Flames (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Fighting Blues come into the non-league battle with a 10-7 record.
