Virginia High School Basketball - Covenant ripped by Eastern Mennonite

December 20, 2022: Harrisonburg, VA 22802

The Eastern Mennonite Flames basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Covenant Eagles to 34 in the Flames league triumph on Tuesday.

The Flames now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walsingham Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Eastern Mennonite will meet a Trojans team coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-4.

The Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Virginia Academy (Ashburn, VA). The Patriots come into the non-league bout with a 4-6 record.
