The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops basketball team (Lynchburg, VA), was overwhelmed 78-55 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA)

The Barons now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miller School of Albemarle for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Blue Ridge will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 56-28 non-league win over Life Christian Academy (Chester, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-5.

The Bishops (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA). The Tigers come into the Virginia Independent battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Hargrave Military Academy trounced Oak Ridge Military Academy (Oak Ridge, NC), 88-75, in a non-league battle.
