North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Academy knocked off by Piedmont

December 2, 2022: Monroe, NC 28110

The Piedmont Panthers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Central Academy Cougars to 36 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the victory, Piedmont upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to play the Wolf Pack in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Wolf Pack come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Parkwood lost 59-52 in their recent non-league bout against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Central Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
