Georgia High School Basketball - East Jackson nips Dawson County
December 2, 2022: Commerce, GA 30529 East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA), 62-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Jackson upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Oglethorpe County won 59-51 in their recent non-league bout against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA)
Next up, the Tigers play the West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) in a AAA Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Dawson County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 36-28 non-league win over Johnson (Gainesville, GA).
