The Murphy Bulldogs basketball team (Murphy, NC), was toppled 38-24 in Friday's league battle with the host Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC)

The Highlanders now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robbinsville for a 1A Conference 43 battle on Tuesday, December 6. Highlands will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 73-22 non-league win over Nantahala (Topton, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-0.
