Wausa Vikings (Wausa, NE) followers went home happy Saturday as they observed their basketball team edge the host Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE), 36-29 in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Creighton Bulldogs (Creighton, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 5. Wausa will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 62-31 non-league loss to West Holt (Atkinson, NE).
