Louisiana High School Basketball - Barbe knocks off LaGrange
December 2, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70605 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Barbe Buccaneers basketball team scored a good 57-45 win over the LaGrange Gators.
The Buccaneers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Sharks come into the 5A District 3 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Southside dropped by Episcopal (Bellaire, TX), 66-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gators battle the Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 3. LaGrange will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
